ipad lettering: a creative workshop!

for the longest time, i've wanted to host this workshop. i wanted to create a time for people to learn something new and also walk away with something tangible that they could take home. i've hosted a lot of calligraphy workshops, and in most cases, with calligraphy, you won't walk away from a 2.5 hour workshop with something you feel extremely proud of. but my hope for this workshop is that you'll leave feeling well rested, creatively fueled, proud, and excited to create. this creative workshop will focus on the basics of ipad lettering/design on the procreate app (you will need your own ipad, apple pencil, and access to the procreate app!). we'll work through different brushes, learn about the different design jargon, brainstorm various styles, and use everything we've learned to create a set of paper goods + some fun brand collateral. this workshop is for everyone! for creatives who want to start designing their own marketing materials, for designers who want to learn a new medium, for non-creatives who need a break and want to do something with their hands -- there's space for all. we'll be hosting the ipad lettering workshops at our home (!!) because our home is our office (located in federal way, wa -- about 30 min south of seattle)! we will be doing some printing (you'll do the design work, i'll do the printing!) and i have everything i need to do that at home, so i decided that it might be fun to host small, intimate sessions at home. once you sign up for the workshop, details about location, materials, etc. will be sent out via email a couple weeks prior. i'm so looking forward to meeting you + creating something fun together. feel free to email with any questions -- happy to help!
